Ingredients
For the Ham
- 1 fully cooked spiral-cut ham (8–10 lbs)
For the Honey Glaze
- 1 cup honey
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar or orange juice
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions
1. Prep the Ham
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Place ham cut-side down in a roasting pan.
- Cover loosely with foil.
2. Warm the Ham
Bake for about:
- 10–12 minutes per pound
An 8–10 lb ham usually takes about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
3. Make the Glaze
While the ham bakes, combine in a saucepan:
- honey
- brown sugar
- Dijon mustard
- maple syrup
- vinegar or orange juice
- butter
- cinnamon
- cloves
- pepper
Bring to a gentle simmer for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.
4. Glaze the Ham
- Remove foil during the last 30–40 minutes of baking.
- Brush ham generously with glaze every 10 minutes.
- Let the glaze caramelize and darken slightly.
5. Finish
- Optional: broil for 2–3 minutes for extra sticky edges.
- Let rest 15 minutes before slicing.
